Instructors
Shauna Marble and Mark Godwin are from Denver, Colorado, and are quickly becoming some of the best known rising stars in the competitive dance world. They currently are coaching The Jump Jive and Teens Performance Group, and the DSP Adult Advanced Performing Group.

COMPETITION DETAILS
Open Lindy Hop Comp ($200 First Place Prize)
- There will be a Strictly Lindy Competition (couples)$15 entrance fee per couple.
- All the money will go into the "pot" for prizes.
- Cash prizes for 1st-5th place:
- 1ST = $200 + Harlem Nights Weekend Pass ($400 Value)
- 2ND = $100 + ULX 2011 Weekend Pass
- 3RD = Free Private Lessons with Professional Teachers (from HN)
- 4TH = $50
- 5TH = $25
- Pre-Lims will be held from 4:30-5pm on Saturday before the last workshop class at the DF Dance Studio. The finalists will be announced before the end of the last workshop class around 5:30pm or sooner.
- Finals will be around 11:00pm at the dance on Saturday night. Those who qualify, come in your best dress. Air steps are allowed but you do them at your own risk. Winners will be announced at 11:30pm.
Team Competition
- Teams from Utah State, BYU, Harlem Shout, the Salt Lake Jitterbugs, and more will be competing Saturday night at the dance.
- Performances will start around 10:00pm. The entrance fee will be $5 per team member, and All that money will go into the prize "pot".
- The routines should not be longer than 3 1/2 min. You must have at least 3 couples to be considered a team. Please have costumes and music ready by 9:00pm Sat. Night, and your music on an Mp3 player or computer.
- Please message me ahead of time if you need to bring a CD.
PRICING
- Weekend Pass Early Registration: $45 each
- Weekend Pass (bought at the door): $50
- Classes a la carte: $10 each
- Friday Night Blues Practice Time (FREE for class participants): $3 each
- Saturday Night Dance: $7 each
- Late Night Dance: $3 each
- Spectator Passes (not dancing): $3 each
